St. Norbert College art student Cameron Stefanowski (Wadsworth, Ill.) has won a National Addy Award in the 2016 American Advertising Awards. Stefanowski's award is in the Illustration category, for his illustration "The Geometrics of John F. Kennedy."

Stefanowski is a double major in communications/media studies and graphic design. He expects to graduate in December 2016. After graduation, he plans to work as a communication graphics specialist, and aims to eventually earn an MFA and teach college-level art and design courses. At St. Norbert College's Academic Awards Dinner on April 26, Stefanowski was named the first recipient of the F. William Bohné Memorial Art Award, created in honor of Bohné's 48 years of service to the St. Norbert College community and his legacy in art and education.

The Addy Awards will be presented at a gala dinner held on Tuesday, June 7, as a part of the ADMERICA event at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California. Gold and Silver award designations will be announced at the awards show.
