St. Norbert College was ranked as one of the most affordable private colleges in the country by MONEY. Out of 50 schools who made the cut, St. Norbert was ranked 37th.

MONEY determined which of the country's roughly 2,000 four-year colleges and universities deliver the most value -- that is, a great education at an affordable price that helps students launch promising careers.

MONEY screened out schools with graduation rates below the median, those with financial difficulties, and those with fewer than 500 undergraduates. What remained were 705 colleges that were ranked on 24 factors in three categories: educational quality, affordability and alumni success.

MONEY also measured comparative value, by assessing how well students at each school did vs. what is expected for students with similar economic and academic backgrounds; they also assessed the college's mix of majors.

The academic excellence of St. Norbert College is nationally recognized by U.S. News & World Report's America's Best Colleges and Forbes Magazine's college rankings. One of the top 10 Catholic national liberal arts colleges, St. Norbert also is recognized by The Princeton Review as a "Best College," by the Templeton Foundation's Honor Roll for Character-Building Colleges, and by Colleges of Distinction for producing "well-rounded, sought-after graduates."
