Listening Party will perform at the final "Knights on the Fox" concert series of the summer on Tuesday, August 9. Nick Vitrano, St. Norbert College alumnus and host of the Murphy in the Morning Show on WIXX, will serve as the evening's emcee. The concert will take place at the Ed and Sally Thompson Marina and is free and open to the public.

Listening Party, a charismatic alternative folk band out of Milwaukee, will perform an eclectic mix of original music and uniquely comprised covers. A combination of intimate songwriting and foot stomping folk rock, Listening Party gives a passionate performance mixed with well-rounded musicianship that translates into a show you will not want to miss.

"Knights on the Fox" features live music in a casual atmosphere along the banks of the Fox River. Concertgoers can carry in their own picnic or purchase sandwiches, snacks and beverages at Phil's, St. Norbert's on-campus restaurant located in the Campus Center. Picnicking begins at 5 p.m., followed by the concerts from 6:30-8 p.m. Concerts will be canceled in the event of rain. Check the St. Norbert College website or call for updates on the status of the performance.

The docks of the Thompson marina will be open for those who wish to come by boat. Parking is available in the lots off of Third Street and College Avenue, with handicapped parking in the lot near Old St. Joseph Church. Lawn chairs and blankets are suggested. Follow the signs to find your way to the parking lots.
