Registration Open for Fifth 5K Family Don Schneider Memorial Run As Part of SNC Day

The fifth annual Don Schneider Memorial 5K Family Run will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, and is part of the college's SNC Day activities. The 5k race is now open to all ages -- families are encouraged to participate. The race will start and end on campus in front of the Mulva Library.
Registration is $15 and runners will receive a commemorative long-sleeved T-shirt. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each division.

The late Don Schneider was a longtime trustee, adjunct professor and generous friend of St. Norbert College, as well as an avid runner. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Don Schneider Memorial Scholarship at St. Norbert College. Register online at http://www.snc.edu/sncday/ or at the Mulva Library on Friday, Sept. 16, from 5-7 p.m. or Saturday, Sept. 17, starting at 8 a.m. until race time.
Food and refreshments will be available in the Mulva Library for runners after the race.

SNC Day is a campus "open house" held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Race participants can stay and enjoy boat rides on the Fox River, three stages of entertainment, food, loads of children's activities, mini-lectures by St. Norbert faculty, interactive science activities for kids in the Gehl-Mulva Science Center, wellness activities, trolley rides to Schneider Stadium, horse-drawn wagon rides through campus and much more.
