St. Norbert College student organization Colleges Against Cancer will host its 6th annual Run for Lungs 5K run/walk on Saturday, Nov. 12, beginning at 9 a.m. The race will begin and end in front of the Ray Van Den Heuvel Family Campus Center on the college campus. The event is open to all ages from the St. Norbert College, De Pere and Green Bay communities. Students, alumni and their families are encouraged to participate.

Registration is $20 per individual, $15 per individual as part of a team and $10 for St. Norbert College students. Registration information can be found at http://www.snc.edu/go/runforlungs.

The St. Norbert College chapter of Colleges Against Cancer was founded on campus in 2004 as a partnership between students and the American Cancer Society. The group is a service and faith organization focused on education and support, particularly for those with cancer and their families. At the end of each academic year, the club donates a significant amount of money to the American Cancer Society and is one of the biggest philanthropic student organizations at St. Norbert College.

The American Cancer Society's Colleges Against Cancer is a national collaboration of college students, faculty and staff dedicated to fighting cancer, volunteering for the American Cancer Society and improving college communities by initiating and supporting programs of the ACS.
