St. Norbert Baer Art Gallery to Hold Two New Art Exhibits

The Baer Art Gallery at St. Norbert College will be holding two new art exhibits running from Nov. 7 to Dec. 9 in the Carol and Robert Bush Art Center on the college campus. The exhibits include the 2016 annual Juried Student Art exhibition and "Graphic Design & Rock and Roll: The Art of the Music Poster." An exhibit reception will be held on Thursday, Nov. 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. Awards for current juried student art will be given at that time.

The Juried Student Art exhibition features the work of current St. Norbert College students. Awards will be judged by Leslie Walfish, the curator of art at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

The "Graphic Design & Rock and Roll: The Art of the Music Poster" exhibit will showcase select student advertising designs from the past ten years of the music-poster projects assigned by Brian Pirman, associate professor of art at St. Norbert College.

St. Norbert College art gallery hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Thurs. from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The art galleries at St. Norbert College are open to the public and admission is free.
