On Saturday, Feb. 11, St. Norbert College will host "The BIG Event" from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Mulva Studio of the Mulva Library on the college campus. Student teams of up to four participants will compete in presenting innovative proposals to help shape and ensure a prosperous future for the college. The first place team will be awarded $400. The registration deadline is Monday, Feb. 6. To register, students should visit http://www.snc.edu/go/bigidea.

The student presentations will be judged by St. Norbert College president Tom Kunkel, members of the college faculty, representatives from the president's innovation task force and members of the local business community. Additional challenges will help determine the competition's ultimate winners.

The competition, organized by the college president's innovation task force, invites ideas on all facets of the college: operational, financial, cultural, curricular and more.
