St. Norbert College Offering Community Outreach Events in March

St. Norbert College Community Outreach & Language Services will present a variety of classes and workshops this March, highlighting cultures and traditions from around the world. The workshops, which are open to the public, include:
Spring Evening Language Classes
March 20 to May 11 on the St. Norbert College campus. These adult non-credit language courses cost $175 each, which includes textbook and classroom materials. Cosmology and Dark Matter Lecture
Thursday, March 23, from 6-8 p.m. on the St. Norbert College campus. This lecture by Travis Hurst, visiting professor of physics and astronomy at St. Norbert, will review basic predictions of and evidence for the Big Bang Theory and dark matter. Registration is $30; registration for St. Norbert College students, faculty, staff and alumni is $20. The registration deadline is March 16. Register at http://www.snc.edu/outreach.
Tea Tasting: Green Teas
Saturday, March 25, from 10-11:30 a.m., at the UW Extension Office in Green Bay, 1150 Bellevue Street. This workshop will allow participants to taste approximately a dozen teas from China, Japan and Korea by certified tea specialist Jennifer Nowicki. Registration is $30.
