St. Norbert College is expanding a campus-wide initiative to provide collaborative resources for students, faculty and staff to assist them with unexpected pregnancies and parenting help. The resources available are numerous and growing, currently including but not limited to: pregnancy testing; options for classes; health care and insurance; housing options; financial and academic aid; childcare; and counseling services. The college is also partnering with various resource centers in the Green Bay and De Pere communities, such as the A&A Alexandrina Center, Love Life Ministry, Care Net, House of Hope and Freedom House. St. Norbert College campus minister Shaun Johnson says, "This is a valuable resource which is absolutely consistent with our institution's responsibility to help students understand the value and respect the dignity of life from womb to tomb, which is steeped in our Catholic, Norbertine tradition."

An initiative that began years ago with the student organization Knights for Life, the effort gained momentum and grew into a collaboration with the college's Health & Wellness Services, Counseling & Psychological Services and the college administration. In recent months, St. Norbert College has made a distinct and continually collaborative effort to expand these programs and resources available to the college community. The full list of current resources can be found at http://www.snc.edu/health/resources/pregnancyandparenting.

Knights for Life is a student organization at St. Norbert College that aims to serve the college and wider community by promoting the life and dignity of the human person at all stages. Knights for Life engages in pro-life activities that include education, advocacy and volunteerism, such as bringing educational speakers to campus, participating in rallies and volunteering with local pro-life organizations.
