DE PERE: The first St. Norbert College gallery showing for the fall season will feature Green Bay native, Peter Poplaski, beginning on August 29th and running through September 16th. Admission is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 9a.m. to 3p.m. The show will include a variety of cartoon sketches, drawings, and animation models. Poplaski seeks to show how the media influences art and how artists work together to create a greater body of work. The show will also contain pieces from Dale Kuipers and famed underground cartoonist, Robert Crumb. The gallery display is a culmination of 30 years of travel, artistic collaboration, and self-discovery. On Thursday, September 8th from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Baer Gallery the public will have a chance to meet with the artist and view his sketches. Poplaski will also be available to sign copies of his new book,
