DE PERE: On August 25, 2005 at the President's Dinner for Faculty and Staff the St. Norbert College Employee Endowed Scholarship for the academic year 2005-2006 was awarded to Kristie L. Kaminski. The scholarship is annually awarded to a full time student who has sophomore standing or higher with a G.P.A. greater than 2.5. Two letters of recommendation are required and a St. Norbert College employee must write one. The student must also demonstrate financial need and participate in a variety
of extracurricular activities that support the Norbertine tradition. This scholarship is made possible by the generous contributions of current and past St. Norbert College employees. Kaminski is a senior majoring in International Business and Language Area Studies with a minor in Economics. During the spring semester of 2005 Kaminski furthered her knowledge of international affairs by studying in Toledo, Spain. Kaminski is not only an excellent student, but also an active community member. She currently participates in the following activities: Habitat for Humanity, Spanish Club, Discoveries International, Make a Difference Day, Relay for Life, Fiesta Hispanica, SNC Shadow Student Program, Intercambio Program, and most recently the Red Cross of Spain.
