St. Norbert College student organization Colleges Against Cancer will host its 7th annual Run for Lungs 5K run/walk on Saturday, Nov. 4, beginning at 9 a.m. The race will begin and end in front of the Ray Van Den Heuvel Family Campus Center on the college campus. The event is open to all ages from the St. Norbert College, De Pere and Green Bay communities. Students, alumni and their families are encouraged to participate.

Registration is $20 per individual. Registration information can be found at http://www.snc.edu/go/runforlungs. The registration fee includes a commemorative t-shirt and light refreshments at the conclusion of the race. A raffle drawing will also occur, with raffle tickets available for an additional cost at the event.

The St. Norbert College chapter of Colleges Against Cancer was founded in 2004. The group is a service and faith organization focused on education and support, particularly for those with cancer and their families. At the end of each academic year, the club donates a significant amount of money to the American Cancer Society and is one of the biggest philanthropic student organizations at St. Norbert College.
