St. Norbert College announces that Jessica Rafeld, director of financial aid, has been elected as a regional representative to the College Board Scholarship Service Assembly Council. She will serve in a three-year term, beginning on Nov. 1.

Rafeld's responsibilities will have regional and national scope. She will serve as a representative of College Board and will attend bi-annual meetings of both its national and regional councils. Rafeld will also participate in the regional forum.

College Board is a nonprofit organization that connects students to college success and opportunity. Founded in 1900, College Board was created to expand access to higher education. Today, the membership association is made up of more than 6,000 of the world's leading educational institutions and is dedicated to promoting excellence and equity in education.

St. Norbert College is committed to access and affordability as well, administering over $58 million in financial aid each year. More than 97 percent of students receive financial help, with grants, scholarships, loans and work-study options in a comprehensive package to aid students in getting the most out of their education while keeping costs and after-college debt low.
