St. Norbert College Youth Orchestra to Celebrate 50 Years with Performance at Weidner Center

The St. Norbert College Youth Orchestra Program will perform at the Weidner Center, 2420 Nicolet Dr., Green Bay, on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 4 p.m. to celebrate 50 years of youth orchestras in the greater Green Bay and De Pere areas, with music selections from Bach, Schubert and more. Advance tickets are available of $12 for adults and $8 for students from the St. Norbert College Box Office by calling 920-403-3950 or online at http://www.snc.edu/tickets. Tickets will also be available at the door of the performance, however prices increase to $14 for adults and $9 for students, with only cash or check being accepted.

The youth orchestra program at St. Norbert College, formerly the Green Bay Symphony Youth Orchestra, is open to students from grade four to age 21 and features three orchestras: string, philharmonia and youth symphony, each with increasing difficulty and advancing experiences. Participation in the program is by audition only.
