St. Norbert College Holding Annual Soul Food Dinner

St. Norbert College will be holding its annual Soul Food Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 5 p.m., in the Michels Ballroom on the college campus, 409 Third St., De Pere. This event is open to the public. Tickets are $14 for the general public, $12 for children age 5 to 12 and children 4 and under are free. Families are encouraged to attend. Tickets may be purchased at http://www.snc.edu/tickets or by calling the St. Norbert College Box Office at 920-403-3950.

This annual celebration will feature the gifts in African American scholarship, food and music. The keynote speakers are three current St. Norbert College students who will be sharing their stories of success at the college. Entertainment will be provided by Our Nation for Youth Arts & Healing (O.N.F.Y.A.H.) Children’s African Dance and Drumming Ensemble from Milwaukee. The food will be served buffet-style and will consist of southern-style cuisine, including: fried southern chicken, red rice, southern mac and cheese, collard greens, corn bread, sweet potato pie and peach cobbler.
