All genders and ethnicities are encouraged to participate in the auditions. There is no audition fee but registration for the auditions is required in advance at http://www.snc.edu/summerstage, where detailed information about the auditions can be found. Most auditions will take place in Dudley Birder Hall, 400 Grant St., De Pere. The audition dates and times are as follows:

On Saturday, March 24, "Last Chance" auditions and auditions for those coming from outside of the Greater Green Bay area will be held in the Walter Theatre from 10 a.m. to noon. Callbacks will begin at 2 p.m.

Participants must sing at their auditions, with additional requirements for those interested in speaking roles. In addition to a large cast of adults, dynamic children are also needed to play the leading roles of Jane and Michael Banks. Participants are expected to arrive in comfortable clothing and to be prepared for movement and choreography. Resumes and headshots are encouraged, but not required. Auditions will take place in groups of 10.

Those auditioning must prepare one or two contrasting musical theater selections, each up to one minute long. An accompanist will be provided, but those auditioning may bring their own. No tapes, CDs or iPods will be allowed. Those interested in a speaking role must prepare a two-minute monologue of choice or be prepared to read from a selection of plays chosen by the director.

St. Norbert College Music Theatre's Summer Stage presents "Mary Poppins" through a special arrangement with Music Theatre International. The original music and lyrics are by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman and the book by Julian Fellowes. The production will be directed by Stephen Rupsch, associate dean for visual and performing arts at St. Norbert College. Kent Paulsen, adjunct instructor of music and director of the Knights on Broadway at St. Norbert College, will be the musical director.
