Benedictine Nun Joins St. Norbert College Alum to Give Joint Lecture on Vocation

Benedictine nun and theological writer Sister Joan Chittister, along with Breanna Mekuly, St. Norbert College class of 2012, will give a joint lecture and discussion Tuesday, April 17, from 6:30 to 9 p.m., in the Walter Theatre in the Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts, 315 Third St., De Pere. The event is free and open to the public. It is a unique opportunity to hear Chittister "spin stories" with Mekuly as part of the Cassandra Voss Center's 2017-18 theme of spinning stories with the StoryCorps program. Chittister will share her vocational story as a Benedictine nun and spiritual writer. This event is co-sponsored by the Cassandra Voss Center and the Killeen Chair of Theology and Philosophy.
