St. Norbert College student embraces the Australian Outback in the name of service

DE PERE: Amy Voigt, a senior at St. Norbert College, recently spent the last semester studying abroad at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. Voigt is a double major in Psychology and Business Administration and hopes to further her education in London studying Industrial Psychology when graduating in May. When in Australia for spring break, Voigt decided to refrain from the party scene and participate in Conservation Volunteer Australia, a non-profit organization that strives to attract and manage volunteers in practical conservation projects that will sustain the beauty of Australia. Conservation Volunteer Australia completes more than 2000 conservation projects across Australia each year. When asked why she would rather go to the Outback instead of the beach, Voigt responded with,
