St. Norbert College Music Theatre Presents "Jekyll & Hyde"

St. Norbert College Music Theatre will present a Next Stage production of “Jekyll & Hyde” Aug. 8 through 12. For tickets, go to http://www.snc.edu/tickets.

Next Stage productions features a talented cast, pit orchestra and crew of high school students or recent high school graduates. Next Stage offers a college-level experience to high school students, making the production entertaining and educational.

Based on the classic story by Robert Louis Stevenson, the epic struggle between good and evil comes to life on stage in this musical phenomenon. Featuring a score of pop/rock hits from multi-Grammy- and Tony-nominated Frank Wildhorn and double-Oscar- and Grammy-winning Leslie Bricusse, “Jekyll & Hyde” has mesmerized audiences all over the world.

Jekyll & Hyde will feature talent from 17 area high schools.

Notre Dame Academy’s choral director, Teresa Schmidt, will direct the production, including vocals. Notre Dame Academy faculty member Andrea Hearden is choreographer. St. Norbert College Associate Academic Dean Michael Rosewall, professor of music, will be orchestra director.

Opening night, Aug. 8, will feature a 5 p.m. gala celebration prior to the 7:30 p.m. performance. Gala tickets include a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception, a tax-deductible donation and performance. To order tickets, visit www.snc.edu/tickets.
