Colleges Against Cancer, a student organization at St. Norbert College, will hold its eighth annual Run for Lungs 5K on Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Ray Van Den
Heuvel Family Campus Center on the college’s campus. Registration will start at 9 a.m, and the race will kick off at 10 a.m. The event is open to all ages from
the St. Norbert College, De Pere and Green Bay communities. Students, alumni and their families are encouraged to participate.
Run for Lungs honors lung cancer awareness month, and all proceeds will go toward cancer research. The race will be timed by CX Timing with awards
presented to top finishers.
Registration is $10 for SNC students, $15 dollars for SNC staff and faculty, and $20 for non-SNC community members. Those running as a team of four people
or more can save $2 per person on registration. To register for the event online, visit https://snccac.wixsite.com/snccac/run-for-lungs.
The St. Norbert College chapter of Colleges Against Cancer was founded in 2004. The group is a service and faith organization focused on education and
support, particularly for those with cancer and their families. At the end of each academic year, the club donates a significant amount of money to the American
Cancer Society. The club is one of the biggest philanthropic student organizations at St. Norbert College.
