St. Norbert College to Offer Community Engagement Classes in February

St. Norbert College announces its community outreach offerings for February. The workshops and classes will take place at varying times with different registration fees, noted below. Registration for all offerings is available at https://www.snc.edu/outreach/cultureworkshops.

Nonprofit Knowledge and Nibbles: Become a Social Media Star

Wednesday, Feb. 13, from noon to 1:30 p.m. on the St. Norbert campus. Katelyn Werner, Box Office manager at St. Norbert College, will provide an overview of effective social media marketing in nonprofit organizations. The workshop will cover topics such as starting an account or page, increasing engagement, creating valuable content and utilizing the tools each platform has to offer. Participants will view examples of genius social media campaigns and brainstorm ideas for future campaigns. Registration is $25 per person and is required by Feb. 5. A sandwich lunch will be provided.

Google PhotosWorkshop
Thursday, Feb. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. on the St. Norbert campus. Ben Hommerding, instructional technologist at St. Norbert College, will teach participants how to back up all their photos and videos using Google Photos, as well as how to utilize the many features Google Photos offers. Registration is $15 per person and is required by Feb. 14.
