The SNC Esports and Gaming Association, a new student organization at St. Norbert College, will host two tournaments for charity in April. Specific event details are as follows:

Super Smash Bros Dale Down 3 Tournament: Friday, April 26, from 7 p.m. to midnight in Dale’s Sports Lounge of Michels Commons on St. Norbert College’s campus. The tournament is returning to the college for its third iteration; all proceeds will benefit Gamers for Giving. Because the tournament is for charity, it will not feature a traditional prize pool; the top three players will be awarded medals/trophies, along with some Nintendo-themed prizes. Registration is open to the public and is $5 for ultimate or melee singles. To register for the tournament, visit https://smash.gg/tournament/dale-down-3/detail. An “all-nighter” charity live stream featuring various games and players will take place after the tournament. The live stream can be accessed by visiting https://www.twitch.tv/greenknightesport. In-Person League of Legends Tournament: Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in rooms 1098 and 1099 of the Gehl-Mulva Science Center on St. Norbert College’s campus. The SNC Esports and Gaming Association is partnering with the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Technology and Education for Community Health Club to bring this event to campus. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Gamer’s Outreach Foundation. Registration is $10 and is open to the public; pizza and soda will be provided at no additional cost. Prizes will be awarded to the top four players. To register, visit https://bit.ly/2U2bgMk. For more information about the Gamer’s Outreach Foundation, visit https://gamersoutreach.org/.

The SNC Esports and Gaming Association seeks to use its interests to give back to the campus and the larger community by inviting those who appreciate esports to join the club and participate in social events such as gaming tournaments, viewing parties, charity live streams and community service.
