St. Norbert College’s Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) student chapter has earned the Superior Merit Award for the student chapter’s achievements and a commitment to providing meaningful programs and services. This is the 16th straight year St. Norbert has captured this award, a streak few colleges have attained. The student chapter at St. Norbert has also won outstanding chapter twice in the last five years.

Approximately 20 St. Norbert College students are involved in the chapter, which is led by adviser Matthew Stollak, associate professor of business administration at the college.

“Only 17 chapters nationwide (out of 300) have earned this distinction for five straight years, so 16 straight years is quite the accomplishment,” said Stollak.

The chapter provides students with a springboard toward future HR careers, offering educational programs, networking opportunities, and service to De Pere and surrounding communities.
