St. Norbert College Appoints Autumn Anfang to Serve as Vice President of Business and Finance

Autumn Anfang has been appointed to serve as vice president of business and finance at St. Norbert College. She begins on Aug. 5, 2019. In this role, Anfang will serve
as an integral member of the president’s cabinet, overseeing the financial and business performance of the college.

“We are thrilled to welcome Autumn Anfang to the St. Norbert community,” said Brian Bruess, president of St. Norbert College. “In addition to her exceptional depth in finance, she has successfully led strategic planning, continuous improvement and operations in higher education. Autumn also demonstrates a deep commitment to our mission, strategic plan, and to creating an increasingly more sophisticated and effective education so that our students can flourish.”

Anfang will lead the college’s business and finance division, which is responsible for finance, budgeting, and investments and endowment management, as well as business operations including human resources, legal, risk and property management, auxiliary services and facilities.

Anfang has 23 years of experience providing financial, operational and organizational leadership in for-profit, non-profit and higher education institutions. Most recently, she served as Marquette University’s director of business management and analysis and was responsible for leading strategic initiatives. Prior to joining Marquette, she served as the assistant vice chancellor of business administration for student affairs, auxiliary services, athletics and enrollment management at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Before entering the higher-education industry in 2011, she served in chief financial officer and finance leadership roles in the non-profit, government, telecommunications and banking sectors.
Anfang has a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and has been a licensed certified public accountant since 1991. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia. Anfang has completed a leadership certification and Six Sigma Green Belt certification, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Anfang succeeds Eileen Jahnke, who will be retiring in September 2019 after serving 18 years at St. Norbert College including 12 years as vice president of business and finance.
