Former Manitowoc Band Director to be Honored at St. Norbert College Community Band Concert

Mike Arendt, late professor emeritus of music at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s Manitowoc Campus and founder and conductor of the Manitowoc
Lakeshore Wind Ensemble and Big Band, will be honored at St. Norbert College’s Community Band Concert on Monday, Nov. 11, at 7:30 p.m. Arendt, an
alumnus of St. Norbert College, died July 16, 2019, at the age of 74. The concert will take place at the Walter Theatre of the Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts, 315
Third St., De Pere. It is open to the public.

seating is available.
The St. Norbert College community band presents two major concerts each year. The group was formed in order to provide an opportunity for outstanding musicians
from northeast Wisconsin to experience the finest band literature available. Membership in the band is by invitation of the conductor and is comprised of friends, alumni
and faculty of St. Norbert College.
