Mary Goggans, president of Encapsys LLC, will present “Grow Your Business Through Open Innovation Partnerships: A Case Study” at St. Norbert College’s CEO Breakfast & Strategy Series on Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at Butte des Morts Country Club, 3600 Prospect Ave., in Appleton. The session is sponsored by AEGIS Financial.

Registration is $60 per person. Space is limited; you can register at http://snc.edu/tickets, or by email at schneiderschool@snc.edu or phone at 920-403-3440.

Encapsys is a world-class manufacturing organization and supply partner supplying microencapsulation solutions for phase-change materials (PCM), fragrances and more.

Goggans joined Appvion in 2012 as director of corporate development and innovation and moved to the Encapsys division where she served as executive director and general manager from 2013 to 2014. The division was purchased from Appvion by Sherman Capital Holdings LLC in August 2015, at which time Goggans was named president of Encapsys LLC.

Prior to joining Appvion, Goggans had a long career at Kimberly-Clark Corp. Her career started in research and development; she moved to operations management and spent the majority of her time in marketing and sales across all of Kimberly-Clark’s major brands. She left Kimberly-Clark as a senior director of e-commerce.

Goggans earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia. She is involved in the Fox Valley community and sits on the boards of directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley and The New North.

Now under the auspices of the college’s Donald J. Schneider School of Business & Economics, the CEO Breakfast & Strategy Series is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for local businesspeople to meet face-to-face with some of the most respected leaders in the business community and to network with other leaders in the region. Speakers will share their unique strategies for facing specific business challenges. Topics are selected by the speakers, and their comments are candid, insightful and not likely to be heard in public elsewhere. Seating is unassigned and questions are accepted from the audience at the end of each presentation.
Of the five remaining presentations, three will be held at St. Norbert College and two will be in Appleton at the Butte des Morts Country Club.

The presenting sponsor for the CEO Breakfast & Strategy Series is Miron Construction; the title sponsors are Davis/Kuelthau Attorneys at Law, Johnson Financial Group and Insight Publications.
