by Mike Counter, mike.counter@snc.edu, 920-403-3089

John McHugh, director of corporate communications, leadership development and training at Kwik Trip, will present “Purpose and Compassion at Kwik Trip” at St. Norbert College’s CEO Breakfast & Strategy Series on Tuesday, Jan. 14, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the F. K. Bemis International Conference Center, St. Norbert College. The session is sponsored by WPS Health Solutions.

Registration is $60 per person. Space is limited; you can register at http://snc.edu/tickets, or by email at schneiderschool@snc.edu or phone at 920-403-3440.

In his role at Kwik Trip, based in La Crosse, Wis., McHugh has helped the company achieve recognition as a top workplace as listed by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Minneapolis Star Tribune and the Des Moines Register.

Prior to joining Kwik Trip in 2004, McHugh was an instructor and principal at Aquinas High School in La Crosse. He holds degrees from the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minn., and the Gregorian University in Rome. McHugh sits on the boards of Trust Point, National Mutual Benefit Society, Viterbo University and the Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse.

Now under the auspices of the college’s Donald J. Schneider School of Business & Economics, the CEO Breakfast & Strategy Series is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for local businesspeople to meet face-to-face with some of the most respected leaders in the business community and to network with other leaders in the region.

Speakers will share their unique strategies for facing specific business challenges. Topics are selected by the speakers, and their comments are candid, insightful and not likely to be heard in public elsewhere. Seating is unassigned and questions are accepted from the audience at the end of each presentation.

Of the four remaining presentations, two will be held at St. Norbert College and two will be in Appleton at the Butte des Morts Country Club.

The presenting sponsor for the CEO Breakfast & Strategy Series is Miron Construction; the title sponsors are Davis/Kuelthau Attorneys at Law, Johnson Financial Group and Insight Publications.
