Colleges Against Cancer, a student organization at St. Norbert College, will host its annual “Hope Dinner” on Saturday, March 7, at 5 p.m. in the F. K. Bemis International Center on the college campus. Tickets may be purchased at http://www.snc.edu/go/hopedinner.

Tickets are $40 for the general public and $20 for students. The price of admission includes a plated dinner, dessert and access to a silent auction. Multiple speakers throughout the evening will discuss how cancer has affected their lives. All are welcome.

The funds raised at this event will be used to support and empower the students in their on-and off-campus initiatives regarding cancer, enabling them to continue outreach with cancer patients and their families in the local community. Over the past several years, this student-run organization at St. Norbert College has increased its outreach by delivering cards, blankets and other items to Bellin Health and St. Vincent Hospital.

Colleges Against Cancer at St. Norbert College was formed in 2004. It is a collaboration of students, faculty and staff who are dedicated to increasing awareness of cancer and supporting cancer patients, survivors, caregivers and their families. Its primary goals include: bringing the St. Norbert College community together to learn about cancer; fundraise for local and national cancer awareness and research initiatives; and ensure that the community has the support it needs relating to cancer.
