Belanger Named CIO at St. Norbert College

Marc Belanger, senior director of information technology at Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, will join St. Norbert College as chief information officer (CIO) and vice president of the information technology services division. Belanger recently was named 2019 CIO of the Year by the Milwaukee Business Journal.

“I am very excited to join and serve the St. Norbert community,” Belanger says. “I look forward to partnering with students, faculty and staff to support the mission of the college and providing leadership and vision for the future of information technology at St. Norbert.”

Belanger has robust experience in higher education. Besides his current role at Mount Mary University, he has held various leadership positions in IT at Carroll University, Marquette University and DePaul University.

Belanger received an undergraduate degree from Columbia College and an MBA from Marquette University. He will start at St. Norbert on April 6. Belanger replaces Lee Reid, who recently retired from the college.
