The Dudley Birder Chorale of St. Norbert College will present a Mozart Masterworks concert on Friday, March 20, at 7 p.m. The performance will take place at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts, 2420 Nicolet Drive, Green Bay. It is made possible in part by the Robert & Carol Bush Vocal Music Fund.

The concert will feature a variety of Mozart’s most famous works, including songs showcased in the 1984 Academy Award-winning film “Amadeus.” Choirs from Little Chute (Wis.) High School; Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay, Wis.; Sevastopol (Wis.) High School; and Shawano (Wis.) High School will join the chorale for its performance of the “Requiem.” The concert will also feature soloist Tomás Dominguez and multiple St. Norbert College faculty soloists, including Linda Feldmann, Yi-Lan Niu and Michael Rosewall.

The chorale will be accompanied by a full symphony orchestra, featuring faculty from St. Norbert College, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and Lawrence University, as well as members of the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra, Oshkosh Symphony Orchestra, Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra, Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra, Griffon String Quartet of Midsummer’s Music and more.

The Mozart Masterworks concert is an extension of the chorale’s three major values: music education, arts advocacy and collaboration with local arts groups. This unique performance and educational experience aims to complement participating high schools’ curriculum while enhancing their understanding and appreciation for the arts in their communities. Continuing the theme of last year’s Beethoven Choral Fantasy concert, the chorale will be joined onstage by more than 100 extra voices.

Tickets are on sale and can be purchased at https://snc.edu/birderchorale or by calling Ticketstar at 920-494-3401. Youth ticket prices start at $13.50 and adult ticket prices start at $23.50.

The Dudley Birder Chorale, led by artistic director Kent Paulsen, is a 150-voice community choir in its 46th season. Since 1974, the chorale has set the standard for choral excellence in its performance of great masterworks, holiday classics and toe-tapping favorites.
