U.S. News & World Report College Rankings

The 2022 US News & World Report ranking for national liberal arts colleges was released this week and St. Norbert College moved up 13 spots and is once again named one of “America’s Best National Liberal Arts Colleges.” St. Norbert is listed in the top tier, is ranked 117 overall, and is among the country’s top 10 Catholic liberal arts colleges in the nation.
Here are some initial highlights from this year’s report:

SNC was ranked 117 for National Liberal Arts Colleges (ranked 130 in 2020, 145 in 2019)
SNC was ranked 40 for Top Performers on Social Mobility for National Liberal Arts Colleges (ranked 92 in 2020)
SNC made the list of A+ Schools for B Students under the National Liberal Arts colleges category
SNC was ranked number 8 (ranked 9 in 2020) in the top 10 Catholic Liberal Arts Colleges
The methodology for the rankings:

22% is graduation and retention rate 20% is peer assessments
20% faculty resources
10% financial resources
7% student excellence
5% social mobility
5% graduate indebtedness
3% alumni giving

St. Norbert also is recognized by The Princeton Review as a “Best College” and by the Templeton Foundation’s Honor Roll for Character-Building Colleges. St. Norbert also has been named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll with distinction.
