The St. Norbert College Theatre program will present William Shakespeare’s “As You Like It,” beginning on Friday, Nov. 5, and running through Saturday, Nov. 12, at Abbot Penning’s Hall of Fine Arts on the St. Norbert College campus.

Shows will be held at 7:30 p.m. as well as a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, Nov 7. A question-and-answer session with the cast and crew will follow the Sunday matinee.

This show follows the antics of Rosalind, her cousin Celia, the fool Touchstone, the love-struck Orlando, the melancholy Jaques, musical Amiens and others, as they escape the evil Duke Frederick into the North Woods of Arden. While there, the court in exile meets the locals: helpful old Corin, the shepherd Silvius who pines for the sassy Phoebe, and loveable (but dim) Audrey. Song, bad poetry, disguises, mix-ups and general mischief culminate in an ending that is pure Shakespeare - weddings for all!

The show is directed by the divisional dean for visual & performing arts and associate professor of theatre studies, Stephen Rupsch, and designed by associate professor of theatre/scenographer, April Beiswenger. Corey Pinchart is the technical director and Brittney Roffers is the assistant technical director.

The cast and crew include: Spencer Catalano (Kimberly, Wis.), Maria Miller (De Pere), Alex Gruber (Plover, Wis.), Robin Wylie (Appleton, Wis.), Natalie Elfner (Homewood, Ill.), Benjamin Kim Paplham (De Pere), Anton Maslowski (Madison, Wis.), AJ Wetenkamp (Plymouth, Wis.), Taylor Donoval (Chicago), Steve Westergan (De Pere), Sinclair Robins (Appleton, Wis.), Jacinta Maslanka (Crestwood, Ill.), Sunnie Grahn (Wautoma, Wis.), David Arendt (Green Bay), Alyssa Brugger (Wrightstown, Wis.), Molly Kubica (Appleton, Wis.), Daphne Johnson (Green Bay), Valerie Cohen (Greenleaf, Wis.), Maddy Brisbane (De Pere).
