St. Norbert College Announces 2023 Piano Festival

The St. Norbert Music department invites piano teachers, middle school and high school piano students to participate in our 2023 Piano Festival. Collegiate and amateur pianists are also welcomed. Participants can expect a whole day of recitals, workshops, masterclasses, lectures, and lecture-recitals featuring our piano faculty and guest artists. The event is on Sunday, March 5 at 9 a.m. in Dudley Birder Hall, 400 Grant St.

The day will include masterclasses, lectures & workshops with SNC faculty and guest artists. The day will conclude with a piano recital by Michael Gurt. Piano students who register for the 2023 SNC Piano Fest and want to perform for the masterclass, may send an email to João Paulo Casarotti, joaopaulo.casarotti@snc.edu, with the title and a YouTube link of the piece that will be performed, as well as a copy of a PDF of the score. Students who apply will receive an email notification regarding whether they have been selected to play for a master class by Feb. 28.
