Insight Publications has announced the 40 recipients of its 40 Under 40 Awards, and Nina Nolan Rouse, director of communications and marketing at St. Norbert College, was selected.

“We are very proud of Nina and all she has accomplished at St. Norbert College,” said Edward Lamm, vice president of enrollment and communication at St. Norbert. “Nina has a lot on her plate but handles it with grace, kindness and hard work. She has done an exceptional job managing her team and being a leadership model for her staff.”

The 40 Under 40 Award, a new program from Insight Publications for 2023, is designed to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of young professionals who have made significant civic and professional contributions to their communities. To be considered for the honor, nominees must be under 40 years old and live or work within the 18-county New North region.

The 40 Under 40 Award recipients will be honored at a special awards ceremony on Wednesday, May 31 at The Weidner Center in Green Bay. The event will provide an opportunity for attendees to network with other professionals and celebrate the accomplishments of these outstanding young leaders. Registration is now open at https://insightonbusiness.regfox.com/40-under-40.

Rouse, who resides in Bonduel, Wis., is a 2007 graduate of St. Norbert College. She also received her Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from the college in 2021. She has worked at St. Norbert for almost 18 years.

Just last year, Rouse directed the college’s website redesign, a monumental task. But she, along with her team, got the job done. Rouse also led the implementation of the college’s first-ever intranet and created a seamless cohesion between admissions and marketing which helped St. Norbert produce its second-largest class ever.

As one of her colleagues put it: “Nina is a tireless worker, driven, communicative, caring, loyal and very intelligent. She owns a delightful sense of humor because she has no ego. She is a ray of sunshine and brightens every room she enters.”

Besides her workload at St. Norbert, Rouse has given a great deal back to her local community, including being a current board member for the school district of Bonduel and a Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Northeast Wisconsin Board Member/Director-At-Large.

Rouse and her husband Shane have three young children.
