Sister Andrea Lee, IHM, joined St. Norbert as the interim vice president for academic affairs for the 2022-23 academic year. Lee has been a Catholic religious for nearly 55
years and a leader in Catholic higher education for 39 of them. Lee is the former president of St. Catherine University, a position she held for 18 years, and most recently
was president of Alverno College. Her lecture, titled “Big Teresa, Daughter and Doctor of the Church: Teresa of Avila as Mystic, Mother of Reform, Friend and Mentor” will
explore the Apostles' Creed from “I believe” to “Amen,” we now turn our attention to leaders and models of faith, purposefully considering what we can learn from the lives
of saints, popes and Mother Mary and share with us what the life of St. Teresa of Avila means for us today.
The Pilgrim Forum is a series dedicated to sharing information and spurring discussion around the basic tenets of the Catholic faith and tradition, specifically the Apostles'
Creed. Each semester, speakers examine a portion of the creed, breaking it open in discussion with attendees to understand more deeply what they believe.
