St. Norbert College Music Theatre's Next Stage to Present "Brigadoon"

St. Norbert College Music Theatre’s Next Stage will present a production of “Brigadoon” on Aug. 10-13 at the Walter Theatre on the St. Norbert campus. For tickets, go to snc.edu/tickets or call the St. Norbert College box office at 920-403-3950.
“Brigadoon” is a timeless, romantic classic inspired by the MGM film. New Yorker Tommy Albright unexpectedly arrives at the mysterious Scottish Highland village of Brigadoon, which only appears for one day every 100 years. When Tommy meets and falls in love with Fiona, a beautiful villager in this magical hamlet, he must decide whether to return to his old life or stay in Brigadoon " forever.
This year’s cast, crew and pit musicians come from 23 local high schools:

Next Stage is an immersive musical theatre program for high-school-aged performers, instrumentalists and technicians culminating in public performances. Participants receive skill training and practical experience in a challenging and supportive environment. This year’s Next Stage production marks the eighth in the program’s history. It is co-
directed by Teresa Schmidt and Andrea Hearden. Schmidt also serves as the vocal music director, and Hearden serves as the choreographer. Philip Klickman serves as the pit orchestra director.
