The 2023-24 U.S. News & World Report best college rankings have just been released, and St. Norbert College is listed among the top 100 national liberal arts colleges for the first time. St. Norbert, listed in the top tier, moved up 17 spots and is ranked 93 overall for liberal arts colleges in the U.S. It is among the top 10 Catholic liberal arts colleges in the country, coming in tied for eighth.

"Being listed among the top 100 liberal arts colleges in the nation is certainly a point of pride for us," said St. Norbert College President Laurie Joyner. "Our swift rise in the rankings shows that a St. Norbert College education -- one that sends graduates into the world to serve their communities and lead in their professions -- continues to be impactful, and is even gaining in significance, as we begin the college's 125th year. It also means our commitment to the liberal arts, Catholic identity and Norbertine heritage is serving our college and our students well."

St. Norbert also ranked highly in social mobility at 39, up five spots from last year. The social mobility rankings measure the extent colleges and universities graduate students who receive federal Pell Grants, typically students who come from low-income families.
Several factors account for St. Norbert College’s overall ranking, including first-year retention rate, graduation rate, peer assessment, faculty resources, student selectivity and financial resources.

U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best College” rankings can be found online at http://usnews.com/colleges. The guidebook will be on newsstands in late October.

St. Norbert College will mark its 125th anniversary in October. As the only institution of higher education founded by the Norbertines -- a Catholic order committed to community, education and service to others -- St. Norbert College is dedicated to educating students in the context of personal and social responsibility.

St. Norbert also is recognized by The Princeton Review as a “Best College” and by the Templeton Foundation’s Honor Roll for Character-Building Colleges. St. Norbert also has been named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll with distinction.
