St. Norbert College to Present Christmas Concerts

St. Norbert College will present its annual Festival of Christmas Concert on Friday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. in the Walter Theatre of the Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts, 315 Third St., De Pere. The performance will feature all the St. Norbert College music ensembles, including choirs, bands, brass, flutes, piano, organ and handbells. From traditional Christmas and holiday classics to the sacred and timeless, the repertoire will have audiences feeling ready for the Christmas season. A gourmet dessert reception with music from the St. Norbert Jazz Ensemble will follow the performance.

The St. Norbert College music department will also present the Brass and Organ Christmas Spectacular at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, at St. Norbert Abbey, 1016 N. Broadway, De Pere. This concert features the college’s talented St. Norbert faculty and guest artists from around the region. Audiences will enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the abbey church and listen to the sounds of brass and organ as they echo throughout the chamber. The concert is free and open to the public.
