St. Norbert College Announces April/May Music and Art Events

The St. Norbert College box office has announced the lineup for February and March music and art events. Tickets can be purchased at https://snc.edu/tickets.

The lineup is as follows:

Senior Art Exhibition The exhibit will be in the Galleries in the Bush Art Center beginning on Tuesday, April 9 at 9 a.m. and will remain through Friday, May 3. The Senior Art Exhibition is the capstone experience for all art majors. There will also be a reception on Friday, April 12, at 5 p.m. in the Bush Art Center.

Choral Masterworks: From Past to Future Tuesday, April 9 at 7 p.m. in Weidner Center, 2420 Nicolet Dr., Green Bay. The Dudley Birder Chorale, Orchestra and the St. Norbert College Chamber Singers will perform timeless melodies by Vivaldi, Mozart and more. This event is directed by Kent Paulsen, accompanied by Elaine Moss, and solos will be performed by Yi-Lan Niu and Linda Feldmann. Chamber Music Concert Wednesday, April 10, at 7 p.m. in Dudley Birder Hall, 400 Grant St. The St. Norbert College music department’s annual spring concert will feature the Chamber Singers. This event is open and free to the public.

Spring Instrumental Jazz Concert Friday, April 12, at 7 p.m. in Dudley Birder Hall, 400 Grant St. There are in-person and livestream options for this event. Tickets are $6.50 plus a $3.50 facility fee for either option; they can be purchased from the St. Norbert College box office by visiting https://snc.edu/tickets or calling 920-403-3950.

Spring Band Concert Friday, April 19, at 7 p.m. in Ralph Holter Auditorium at Green Bay West High School, 966 Shawano Ave, Green Bay. The annual spring concert will feature the St. Norbert College Wind Ensemble and Concert Band. This event is free and open to the public.

Spring String Orchestra Concert Saturday, April 20, at 7 p.m. in Dudley Birder Hall, 400 Grant St. The St. Norbert College music program presents the String Ensemble concert. This event is open and free to the public.

Bell Choir Concert Sunday, April 21, at 2 p.m. in Dudley Birder Hall,400 Grant St. The St. Norbert College music program presents the Bell Choir concert. This event is open and free to the public.

Spring Choral Concert Friday, April 26, at 7 p.m., in Dudley Birder Hall, 400 Grant St. The St. Norbert College music department’s annual spring concert will feature the Concert Choir and Chamber Singers. Fresh Ink Composition Concert Sunday, April 28 at 2 p.m. in Dudley Birder Hall, 400 Grant St. The concert will showcase the original works composed by high school and St. Norbert College students.

Knights on Broadway Spring Showcase Knights on Broadway of St. Norbert College will present their annual spring showcase this May 3, 9, 10 at 7 p.m. and May 5 and 11 at 1 p.m. All performances will take place in Dudley Birder Hall, 400 Grant St., on the college campus. Ticket prices are $29 for adults and $13 for students. Spring Pops: How Sweet the Sound Dudley Birder Chorale of St. Norbert College will perform “How Sweet the Sound” in concert Friday, May 17, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, May 18, at 2 p.m. These performances will take place in Dudley Birder Hall, 400 Grant St. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at https://www.snc.edu/birderchorale or by calling the St. Norbert box office at 920-403-3950 Monday through Friday, noon-4 p.m.
