St. Norbert College student organizes charity wheelchair football bowl game

Junior Luke Getschow (Green Bay), along with members of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity at St. Norbert College, have put together a charity Wheelchair Football Bowl Game Tuesday, April 18 at 7 p.m. at Schuldes Sports Center. Money raised from the event will go to the CP Center in Green Bay and Academic Support Services at St. Norbert College. Getschow is helping to organize the event in honor of his brother, Joseph, who is physically challenged. Green Bay Home Medical is providing the wheelchairs. Former Green Bay Packer linebackers George Koonce and Brian Noble, WBAY-TV news anchor Bill Jartz, along with faculty, staff and students from St. Norbert College will participate in the game. Comedy City of De Pere, featuring Miller & Mike, will be provide half-time entertainment. Admission is $3 per person and there will be refreshments and other items for sale.
