The "Knights on the Fox" free summer concert series continues at St. Norbert College on Tuesday, July 25 with children's performer Tom Pease. The five-week outdoor concert series is held on Tuesday evenings through August 8. All concerts are free and open to the public. Tom Pease is an exciting performer for children and families and his recordings have won major national awards. Tom has the unique ability to capture the hearts and imaginations of his audiences from the very first note. Tom performs for school assemblies, community organizations, family events, conferences, libraries and festivals throughout the Midwest. This will be Tom's first appearance at "Knights on the Fox." De Pere Mayor Michael Walsh will serve as the evening's master of ceremonies. "Knights on the Fox" features local performers and a picnic atmosphere perfect for families. Sandwiches, hotdogs, popcorn, ice cream, bottled water and soda will be available for purchase-or carry in your own picnic. The picnics begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the concerts from 6:30-8 p.m. Come by land or by water, as the docks at the Thompson Marina will be open. Ample parking is available in the lots off of Third Street with handicapped parking in the lot near Old St. Joseph Church. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and settle in behind the Ray Van Den Heuvel Family Campus Center along the banks of the Fox River for another terrific season of music and fun! "Knights on the Fox" is sponsored by Cellcom, Gregory and Diane Conway, Ernest and Joan Harvey, John and Kathy Lochner, Ryan Funeral Home and Crematory, Thomas and Carol Tess, Edward and Sally Thompson, and Town & Country Electric (a division of Faith Technologies, Inc.). The Harveys are sponsoring Tom Pease's performance on July 25.
