Let Me Be Frank Productions will appear at the closing concert of the 2006 "Knights on the Fox" summer concert series on Tuesday, August 8. The event is free and open to the public. "Knights on the Fox" features local performers and a picnic atmosphere perfect for families. Sandwiches, hotdogs, popcorn, ice cream, bottled water and soda will be available for purchase-or carry in your own picnic. The picnics begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the concerts from 6:30-8 p.m. Let Me Be Frank Productions, formerly known as Frank's Dinner Theater, is Wisconsin's first all original dinner theater. The group, led by Frank Hermans, performs original music and humorous skits of singing, dancing, and acting. This concert will mark the troupe's third appearance at "Knights on the Fox." Jim Schmitt will serve as the evening's master of ceremonies. Schmitt is a 1980 graduate St. Norbert College and has been Green Bay's mayor since 2003. Come by land or by water, as the docks at the Thompson Marina will be open. Ample parking is available in any of the lots off of Third Street with handicapped parking in the lot near Old St. Joseph Church. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and settle in behind the Ray Van Den Heuvel Family Campus Center along the banks of the Fox River for another terrific season of music and fun! In the event of rain, the concert will be moved inside the Campus Center. "Knights on the Fox" is sponsored by Cellcom, Gregory and Diane Conway, Ernest and Joan Harvey, John and Kathy Lochner, Ryan Funeral Home and Crematory, Thomas and Carol Tess, Edward and Sally Thompson, and Town & Country Electric (a division of Faith Technologies, Inc.). The popular free summer concert series will return for its fifth season at St. Norbert College in the summer of 2007.
