St. Norbert College Friends of Music to present first annual music alumni recital

St. Norbert College Friends of Music is proud to present the first annual music alumni recital. The concert will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11 in the Walter Theatre, located in the Abbott Pennings Hall of Fine Arts building at the heart of the St. Norbert campus. SNC Friends of Music is a newly formed organization whose mission is to unite community members, educators, faculty and alumni to serve, support and promote the St. Norbert College music program. SNC Friends of Music aims to maintain a close spirit of cooperation and communication that enhances not only the quality of the college, but enriches the lives of its music alumni and friends. In affiliation with the St. Norbert College music department, SNC Friends of Music has invited 12 talented music alumni, graduates from the last four decades, to perform an eclectic mix of vocal and instrumental pieces. From soaring vocal solos to triumphant instrumental ensembles, this inaugural program is sure to include something for everyone! Immediately following the concert, SNC Friends of Music will host a reception in lobby near Walter Theatre. This will be a great opportunity for community members, alumni, faculty and friends to visit and enjoy the camaraderie of the St. Norbert music program. The concert costs $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and non-SNC students. The concert is free for all SNC students. The reception is free to all ticket holders.
