Linda Beane-Katner of St. Norbert College has been selected to attend the Management Development Program at the Harvard Institutes for Higher Education June 16-28 in Cambridge, Mass. The program is designed to provide new perspectives and practical insights for college and university administrators who must "manage from the middle," and prepare them to become better leaders of their colleges, departments or units while also becoming more informed contributors to broader institutional goals. Beane-Katner, currently interim director of Faculty Development and associate professor of French, is looking forward to the experience. "I'm very enthusiastic about this unique opportunity to further develop my leadership skills while interacting with other mid-level administrators in the early years of their careers." Linda Beane-Katner has been at St. Norbert College since 1992.
