On Wednesday, April 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fort Howard Theater, Bemis International Center, the St. Norbert College Great Decisions Lecture Series will host Ed Perkins and "The Future of South Africa." Perkins was the first African American to be named as Ambassador to South Africa. He became famous for standing up to President Botha at the height of Appartide in South Africa. As of late, Perkins has been featured on a variety of national talk shows and is widely considered an expert on South Africa. Great Decisions is a national program that seeks to bring together local, regional and national experts in an eight week lecture series discussing international issues of interest to the community. St. Norbert College is hosting the public event for the 25th year in northeast Wisconsin. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5. For more information or to purchase tickets in advance, contact the St. Norbert College Center for International Education at (920) 403-3378 or go to http://www.snc.edu/cie/greatdecisions.html.
