United Nations celebration moves to northeast Wisconsin, St. Norbert College and UW-Green Bay to present leading activist John Prendergast

Since 1959, when Governor Gaylord Nelson formed the Wisconsin United Nations Commission and gave it its charter, each consecutive October United Nations Day has been celebrated in Madison. This year, in recognition that the commission represents constituencies throughout the state, it was decided to hold the United Nations Day further north, in the Green Bay area.
