Kathy Kelly to speak on experiences in Iraq at St. Norbert College

DE PERE: The St. Norbert College Peace and Justice Center presents Kathy Kelly speaking on her experiences in Iraq Wednesday, April 6 at 7 p.m. in the Walter Theatre, Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts. The presentation is free and open to the public. Kelly, a two times Nobel Peace Prize nominee, and founder of Voices in the Wilderness, a non-profit organization, will present a better perspective of what life is like for the ordinary citizens of Iraq, before, during and after the war. Her organization has undergone over 70 missions to Iraq since 1996 to deliver food, medicine, and toys to civilians under United States/United Nations sanctions.
