Why should I attend the lectures?
The Great Decisions Lectures Series keeps you informed about relevant global topics. You also will have an opportunity to engage with each speaker.  

When are the lectures?
The lectures typically take place on Wednesday evenings in February, March, and April. This year, the lectures will begin at 6:30 p.m. 

How long are the lectures?
Each 45-minute lecture is followed by a 15-minute question and answer session. 

Where are the lectures?
The lectures take place in the Fort Howard Theater in the F.K. Bemis International Center on the St. Norbert College campus. Please reference our campus map.  

Is parking available?
Yes, free parking is available in lots P14 and P11, which are conveniently located near the F.K. Bemis International Center. Please reference our campus map.  

Who may attend the lectures?
The lectures are open to the public.

How much does it cost to attend?
There is no charge for faculty, staff, and students from any educational institution (I.D. required). The cost for community members is $5 per lecture (cash and check only; no credit cards). 

May I purchase the briefing book that is published each year by the Foreign Policy Association?
Yes, you may purchase the briefing book for $25 (cash or check only; no credit cards). Briefing books will be sold before each lecture at the check-in table outside of the Fort Howard Theater.

May I purchase a subscription that includes admittance to all of the lectures and the briefing book?
We no longer make subscriptions available for purchase.  

What should I do if I can't attend a lecture, but I want to listen to the remarks?
We record each lecture. Discs are available for checkout at the Mulva Library.  

In the case of inclement weather, will we be contacted if the lecture is canceled?
Yes, as long as you are on our contact list, you will receive an email notification indicating the status of the lecture.
