Student Employment

The Emmaus Center seeks students who are interested in exploring and/or committing to expressions of faith to assist with cultivating ministry for the SNC Community. Applicants should be comfortable 1) working independently and in a team setting, 2) organizing and completing tasks on a deadline, 3) extending hospitality, 4) expressing personal creativity, and 5) speaking about faith and spirituality.

The Emmaus Center typically hires early in the spring semester for the following academic year.

Emmaus Center student employees work within two major areas: Campus-Wide Programming and Residence Hall Programming. There are a variety of positions available: ALIVE Mentor, Campus-Wide Program Organizer, and Protestant Student Organizer. First year students interested in working for the Emmaus Center are encouraged to learn more about our ALIVE program and consider applying to be an ALIVE Apprentice

Applications for the 2024-25 academic year are now open for most positions; ALIVE Apprentice applications closed on March 4th.

Interested in employment with the TRIPS Program? TRIPS is a collaboration between the Sturzl Center for Community Service and Learning and The Emmaus Center for Spiritual Life and Vocation. Learn more about employment with the TRIPS program and view the TRIPS application on the TRIPS website.
