St. Norbert College Music Theatre Announces 2018 Summer Shows: Mary Poppins and Jekyll & Hyde

St. Norbert College (SNC) Music Theatre will present two highly-acclaimed musicals in summer 2018. Music Theatre at St. Norbert now includes two unique production units -- Summer Stage and Next Stage. SNC's Summer Stage production will perform MARY POPPINS on July 12-22. SNC's Next Stage production will perform JEKYLL & HYDE on Aug. 8-12. Both shows will be performed at the Walter Theatre on the St. Norbert College campus.

"We are delighted to bring the exciting contemporary productions of these classic musicals to St. Norbert College and the many talented performers in our area," said Michael Rosewall, professor of music and associate academic dean at St. Norbert College. "Of course, the ultimate thrill will be performing MARY POPPINS and JEKYLL & HYDE for audiences of all ages this summer. When the lights go down and the curtains go up at the Walter Theatre, you'll want to be there."
St. Norbert College Music Theatre is a pillar in the college's commitment to inspiring the visual and performing arts throughout our community. SNC Music Theatre is home to both Summer Stage and Next Stage production units. Summer Stage is a production featuring performers of all ages, presenting MARY POPPINS. Next Stage is a production featuring our community's talented high school students, presenting JEKYLL & HYDE in August.

Tickets for both shows will go on sale at the St. Norbert College Box Office at http://www.snc.edu/tickets/ on Monday, Nov. 27 at 9 a.m.

About the Musicals

St. Norbert College Music Theatre presents a Summer Stage production of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's MARY POPPINS -- a musical based on the stories of P.L. Travers and the Walt Disney Film.
The original music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman and book by Julian Fellowes. MARY POPPINS is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
St. Norbert College Music Theatre presents a Next Stage production of JEKYLL & HYDE -- conceived for the stage by Steve Cuden and Frank Wildhorn with book/lyrics by Leslie Bricusse and music by Frank Wildhorn. JEKYLL & HYDE is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
